Snapchat is one of the top social media platforms used today, especially for couples. It’s commonly used for those in a relationship to sext each other without leaving evidence. After the recipient views the snap, it automatically disappears. This feature is definitely a life saver, especially if you breakup with your S.O. If you just recently broke up with your ex and want to avoid them on Snapchat, consider using the Snapchat Do Not Disturb Mode.
What Is The Snapchat Do Not Disturb Feature?
The Do Not Disturb Mode on Snapchat allows a user to mute a contact or group on the platform. So, if you don’t want to constantly see notifications about your ex’s Snapchat activities, this can help with that. It’s hard enough to get over a breakup, even without the social media notifications.
This feature does not allow you to block or unfriend the person on Snapchat. Also, it may appear as Mute or Unmute as well when using it on a friend. Sometimes, using this mode is the best option so you don’t send the wrong message to the person you’re using it on.
