What is Kiwi Searches?

Kiwi Searches is a people search engine, public information directory, and background checker created for anybody to perform quick, easy, and affordable background checks. We offer six (3) different types of search reports: phone, person, social.

How do I perform a search?

Simply enter a person’s name or phone number into the search bar on the corresponding Kiwi Searches page. Upon starting a trial or purchasing a full membership, you’ll gain access to your own personal dashboard where you’ll be able to view your search report (and continue searching other names or phone numbers).

What type of information comes in a standard report?

After you run a search on our site, you’ll discover a wealth of data that correlates to the type of search you performed -- as you’ll see in the report results summary page. On each service payment page (person search, criminal search, etc.), you’ll see a list on the sidebar that details exactly what type of information you may receive in your report upon your purchase.

Where does Kiwi Searches gather the data found in its reports?

Kiwi Searches aggregates information from multiple directories and databases to ensure the data provided to you is as accurate, reliable, and up-to-date as possible. Although we utilize several platforms to gather records, a single streamlined report will be delivered to you in a format that is easy to read and understand.

How much does a search cost?

For both person search and phone search you will be enrolled in a trial membership at the time of sign up. At this point you will be charged a fee of $0.95 for your trial membership, which will automatically convert to a full membership in 3 days. Once your trial membership has converted to a full membership, you will be charged a recurring fee of $39.95/month.

Is there a limit to the searches I can perform?

You can perform up to 5 searches per month with a phone search subscription, or 10 search per month with a person search subscription. After your tenth search, each additional search will cost $9.95 per report. There is no limit to the amount of single searches you can run.

Note: You cannot combine different types of reports in one monthly subscription. If you purchase a PERSON SEARCH subscription, you can perform only 1 search per month. If you wish to perform a REVERSE PHONE SEARCH but you have a PERSON SEARCH subscription, you must purchase a separate REVERSE PHONE SEARCH subscription.

Am I still going to be charged if the information I receive is inaccurate?

Yes. Although we strive to ensure the information provided to you is as accurate and up-to-date as possible, you will still be charged since you performed a search using the Kiwi Searches data aggregation service.

Am I still going to be charged if nothing comes up when I run a report?

Yes. By utilizing the Kiwi Searches service, you are paying to receive a report with results which disclose whether the person you are searching possesses a record or not.

If the person you searched does possess a record, we will provide you with any information extracted from our public records resources. If the person you searched does not possess a record, the only information we can provide to you is the fact that it does not exist. We cannot control what is presented as public information.

Will the person I searched be notified that I searched them?

No. All services conducted by Kiwi Searches are confidential, meaning the person, phone number, or address you looked up will never receive a notification of the search.

Can anybody find out who and what I’ve searched?

No. No one will find out who and/or what you’ve searched unless he/she has access to your Kiwi Searches account or personal browser history.

Is it available only in the USA?

Yes. Kiwi Searches is currently available only in the USA. You cannot perform a search for somebody, a phone number, or an address in any other country at this time.

Will I be able to perform a background check?

Yes. Kiwi Searches enables users to perform a comprehensive background check on any person (for a more affordable price). Depending on which service you are subscribed to, you will gain access to any or all of the details listed above in the third question.

However, because we abide by the terms and conditions of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), all of the other information Kiwi Searches provides its users cannot be used for any of the following purposes:

  • Employment screening
  • Education screening
  • Tenant screening
  • Credit decisions

Please see our Dos & Don’ts page here for more information on how you can and can’t use our service.

How can I view my recently performed searches?

After you purchase your first report or sign up with our service, you will gain access to your own personal dashboard. On the left sidebar of the user dashboard is a tab labeled “Search History” where you will be able to view your past searches.

Will I be able to retrieve text messages from a reverse phone search?

No. Kiwi Searches does not retrieve text messages from a reverse phone search. Reverse phone searches disclose any information related to the phone number you have entered in the search bar, including mobile carrier, owner’s name, approximate location, and more.

Will the GPS on a phone search report show the location of a phone in real-time?

No. The GPS is shown as an approximation of the location where the owner of the phone may live or where they purchased the device attached to that phone number.

Will I be billed every month for your service?

Unless you receive confirmation that your subscription has been terminated, you will be billed on a continuous renewal basis every month.

How can I cancel my account?

To cancel your account, please login to your Kiwi Searches account with your username and password provided in your welcome email. Click "My Account" in the upper right corner of the page, click Subscriptions, and then click on Cancel. If you choose to cancel your trial membership within 3 days of signing up, you will be charged a $9.95 cancellation fee.

Who can I contact if I have other questions that aren’t answered in the FAQs?
